Job Title: Community Development Coordinator Location: Todd Mission, Texas Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications Benefits: 100% paid employee medical (BCBS), 2 weeks paid vacation, paid training
Join our small, close-knit city staff! We are looking for a Community Development Coordinator to handle building permitting, code enforcement, and customer service. This is a dynamic, team-oriented role in which you’ll work directly with residents and builders to ensure compliance with city codes in a friendly, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Administer building permits and maintain records
· Conduct code enforcement activities while fostering positive community relations
· Provide reception assistance (answering phones, assisting customers)
· Assist with various city operations as needed
Qualifications:
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Computer literacy required; experience with permitting software preferred
· Must pass the Texas Code Enforcement Officer exam (city-paid training provided)
· Valid Texas driver’s license
